It is led by Nick Bontis, a Canadian leading expert in the field of Intellectual Capital.

The Knowledge Shop	The first Intellectual Capital Store with products and service to buy that enhance knowledge and the development of tangible and intangible assets (e.g the Sveiby Toolkit).
Sveiby Site	Web site of Karl Erik Sveiby which contains references to a range of intangible related sites, to literature, and also offers access to tools for building the knowledge based organisation and for measuring intangible assets, including the Sveiby tool kit.
Best Practices LLC:  Best in Class and Benchmarking	Best Practices LLC is a business to business research and consulting firm specialising in best practice benchmarking. Its web site contains several resources in knowledge management and intellectual capital. It has created a Knowledge Management Excellence (KME) Forum that provides information on industry trends, links to research centers, and a list of upcoming conferences. Best Practices LLC sought to identify the current methods used by companies to measure their intellectual assets. It has published a report on "Best Practices in intellectual Assets measurement and management.
Knowledge On Line	Portal based in the UK, whose statement is "Knowledge has no tangible corporate value; it rarely appears on the balance sheet and carries no tax benefit or burden. But for many organisations, it is the greatest (and sometimes the only real) asset that they possess Knowledge On-Line is the central information and communication forum for Chief Knowledge Officers and Knowledge Workers world-wide.

The aim of this site is to create an access and a discussion point to compare, increase and search the idea of social audit and to recognise the potential benefits that social audit can bring to enterprises, customers, employees.  It is developed by an italian organisation "Reporting Comunicazione"
Balanced Scorecard Collaborative	A professional services firm that facilitates the worldwide awareness, use, enhancement, and integrity of the Balanced Scorecard as a value-added management process. Founded and led by the creators of the Balanced Scorecard concept, Drs. Robert Kaplan and David Norton, BSCol provides a global center of Balanced Scorecard excellence through consulting, education, training, publishing, research and development.

Some companies are specialised in intangible assets valuation such as the Intellectual Capital Services Ltd. (ICS) or the "Technology Broker - The Intellectual Capital® Company", etc.) of Annie Brooking.

Finally, UK actors seem interested by the broader topic of Knowledge Management. In this field, web sites in particular Knowledge On Line (see above 1.), journals (Journal of Intellectual Capital, Journal of Knowledge Management, Knowledge Management Magazine, etc.), newsletters and resources networks (such as TELEOS) are very active and refer often to intellectual capital issues.

• Institut de recherche en propriété intellectuelle Henry Desbois de la Chambre de Commerce et d'industrie de Paris - IRPI - CCIP: IRPI's objective is to conduct studies and research on all aspects of intellectual property, compile ad-hoc literature, organise stages and training, raise awareness and assist the Chamber of Commerce. Its web site aims to be a "portal" on intellectual property. It contains several links and resources on intangible assets.

Italy

• A web site "Bilancio Sociale" has been implemented on Social Audit issues. This web site is the Italian part of an international web site dedicated to social reporting Social Audit in the world (see above 1.).

• BVE - European Virtual Bank has implemented an "International Institute for Interchange on Ciphermatics and Virtual Issues" brings together and proposes elements of research at international level, produced both by researchers and operators of several business fields. Its last publication "Telebank" was dedicated to intellectual capital :" Il Capitale Intellettuale: Come elaborare, come organizzare, come comunicare nell’era dell’e-business".

Netherlands

• The Knowledge Farm : created to stimulate thinking about all aspects of Intellectual Capital. "None of the founders have any formal credits regarding Intellectual Capital, but have built successful businesses and have experienced first hand the value of recognising, harvesting and managing Intellectual Capital to improve their companies and the efficiency of their business". The Knowledge Farm has organised a Seminar on Intellectual capital and the Knowledge economy in may 1999 "Kennis verdubbelt elke elf uur" (report available in Dutch).
